Sarnath Temple – Where Buddha Delivered His First Sermon
Sarnath, located just a short distance from Varanasi, is a sacred and historically significant site where Lord Gautama Buddha delivered his first sermon—known as the Dharmachakra Pravartan. It is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Buddhism, offering a deep sense of peace, wisdom, and spiritual awakening.
