About Ganga Aarti:
The world-renowned Ganga Aarti is performed every evening at Dashashwamedh Ghat by a group of dedicated priests. This sacred fire ritual, known as Agni Pooja, is a tribute to Lord Shiva, Mata Ganga, Surya (Sun), Agni (Fire), and the universe created by Lord Shiva.

This mesmerizing ceremony is a must-see experience in Varanasi. It evokes a deep spiritual atmosphere and is performed using large brass lamps synchronized with Vedic chants and hymns, witnessed by a large gathering of devotees and tourists alike.

Aarti Timing:
The Ganga Aarti takes place daily from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM (after sunset) and lasts for approximately 45 minutes. It is advisable to arrive at least an hour early to secure a good spot.
