● 12:00 Noon – Arrival and Welcoming
Upon arrival at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport or Varanasi Junction railway station, you will be welcomed in the traditional way with a bouquet by our representative. You will then proceed by private air-conditioned vehicle to your 4-star heritage hotel, situated ideally close to the ghats.
● 1:00 PM – Hotel Check-in and Orientation
Relax in your elegantly appointed room, comprising modern amenities and traditional décor, overlooking the Ganges River. There will be an orientation session by the tour coordinator on cultural etiquette, detailed program itineraries, and safety tips.
● 2:30 PM – Authentic Banarasi Lunch
Lunch is on a thali at our partner restaurant serving authentic Kayastha fare. Signature dishes include kachori-sabzi, baati chokha, and malaiyo (seasonal dessert). Upon request, vegan and gluten-free dishes will be served.
● 4:30 PM – Guided Walking Tour of the Old City
Guided walking tour through the narrow winding alleys of Vishwanath Gali, exploring hidden temples, traditional shops selling brassware and silk, and the famous paan shops. Insight into Varanasi’s living traditions would be given by our expert local guide.
● 6:00 PM – Ganga Aarti Experience (Premium Viewing)
Enjoy premium reserved seats at Dashashwamedh Ghat to admire the magnificent evening Ganga Aarti ceremony.
