Prayagraj – The Eternal Sangam of Faith, Salvation, and Spiritual Majesty
Known as the ancient Prayag and formerly called Allahabad, Prayagraj is a city where the divine meets the earthly. Revered as one of the holiest places in Hinduism, it is home to the Triveni Sangam – the sacred confluence of three rivers: Ganga, Yamuna, and the invisible Saraswati. This holy city is not just a dot on the map—it is a doorway to moksha, a place where faith flows deeper than any river.
Triveni Sangam – The Sacred Confluence
The Triveni Sangam is the spiritual heart of Prayagraj. Pilgrims from across the globe gather here to take a holy dip, believing it cleanses lifetimes of sins. The waters, infused with ancient chants and the energy of countless rituals, offer a sense of spiritual renewal like nowhere else.
According to mythology, a few drops of Amrit (nectar of immortality) from the Samudra Manthan fell here, making Prayagraj a site of the Maha Kumbh Mela—the largest religious gathering on Earth, held once every 12 years.
